Clay’s professional journey at Gatewood Wealth Solutions began in client services. He quickly broadened his role into strategic and scalable operations. He collaborates with all departments to develop, brand, and implement the signature GWS Process. A significant aspect of his position is to ensure that GWS constantly integrates and leverages the industry’s premier, cutting-edge technology.

 

Keeping pace with relevant industry trends, Clay is instrumental in formulating best practices for data management. His responsibilities also include configuring the firm’s software and hardware, providing technology coaching and training for the team, and maintaining the LPL business continuity plan.

 

Clay holds his Series 7 and Series 63 licenses with LPL Financial and is currently a Level III Candidate for the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.

PERSONAL

Born into a bustling family of seven in Kansas City, Missouri, Clay moved to St. Louis to pursue a degree in Financial Analysis at St. Louis University. He graduated in 2019 and promptly began his career at Gatewood Wealth Solutions. Clay currently resides in Denver, where he enjoys his activities such as soccer, golf, skiing, hiking, and traveling.
