PROFESSIONAL

Jake joined the Gatewood team in 2025 as a Wealth Coordinator and brought with him an impressive educational background. Jake graduated from Stony Brook University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (specializing in finance) with the Magna Cum Laude distinction. He continued his education and returned to earn his Master of Business Administration in Finance soon after.

During his time at Stony Brook, Jake was a member of Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity and served as Vice President in 2021 and President in 2022. These positions helped to refine his organizational and leadership skills, which became evident as his chapter was voted as most improved during his executive board tenure of 2021-2023.

As a part of our team, Jake bring with him a passion for the financial markets, a strong analytical mindset, and is a great addition to our Wealth Coordinators.

PERSONAL

Jake was born and raised on the east coast on Long Island, New York. Where he first developed his passion for business in a class called Virtual Enterprise. To this day he is an active member of the Virtual Enterprise Alumni Association, where he advises high schoolers on the principles of business elevator pitches, business plans, company branding, and company websites.

Outside of his professional life, Jake enjoys sports, whether as an avid fan or player. A graduate of East Hampton High School, where he was team captain of the men's volleyball and track teams for all four years, Jake was awarded for his athletic and leadership achievements. He enjoys a range of other sports including skiing, football, and basketball and will never turn down a chance to go skiing with friends and family.
