Melissa launched her career in the financial services industry as Operations Manager for a notable local firm prior to joining Gatewood Wealth Solutions in 2016. Since joining, she has undertaken a diverse range of roles within the company, fueled by her unwavering commitment to the company’s success and advancement.
During her initial years at GWS, Melissa’s responsibilities included the positions of Executive Assistant to the firm’s founder, John Gatewood, and Office Manager. Later, Melissa’s responsibilities expanded to include insurance underwriting and services.
Currently, as Wealth Coordinator Manager, Melissa remains a vital contributor to the firm, overseeing the team responsible for the administrative facets of client accounts. Melissa’s wide-ranging skills and deep-seated dedication to client service play a crucial role in reinforcing the high-quality standards that define Gatewood Wealth Solutions.
Melissa holds her Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designation and maintains her Life and Health licenses.
PERSONAL
In her free time, Melissa enjoys relaxing by the lake in her home of Lake St. Louis. Other hobbies include making memories with her nieces and nephews, reading, and traveling. She’s also an ardent fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team and can often be found at Busch Stadium cheering on her favorite team!
